Description : A mid-sized company with an above average industry growth rate and with a revenue of 500+ crores is keen to have a seasoned person on board to head its Sales & Marketing function, reporting to the Managing Director
Job Description :
- Responsible for top line and sales volume of allproductlines of the business
- Responsible for the development and implementation of annual and monthly sales objectives in alignment with the business plan
- Increase and improve market share and open up new channels for higher growth
- Deliver operational excellence in terms of rolling sales forecast and ensure commercial discipline in sales operations
- Work with the Business Head in developing a long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin throughproduct/ territory/ pack mix decisions
- Develop and execute the right marketing and promotional strategy in line with the organizational objectives
- Build and lead a high performing a sales team
Candidate Profile :
- Should have be a graduate with 20+ years of experience in managing a Sales & Marketing function nationally and in the building materials industry ( paints /tiles/pipes/sanitary ware /cement / glass /lighting /allied ).
- MBAs preferred
- Should have had a track record of achieving consistent growth: should be well networked within the industry: should be business savvy with good commercial acumen
- Should be a strong leader & communicator with collaborative working style: should have an entrepreneurial mind set and be comfortable working in unstructured environments
Age : 40-50 years.
